The Best - yet Crazy - Piano Bar in New York City

MIMI'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT & PIANO BAR - with Chicken Delicious the piano player

Lewis Hunter Stowers III, aka Chicken Delicious, in one of his dozens of costumes, playing the piano at Mimi's.

His singing, piano playing and costumes for each song is an unusual sight even in New York City, The patrons who join him in singing are also more character than talent.

The drinks are moderately priced and the food is OK.

Chicken Delicious' piano performance is so unusual that the The New York Times wrote a long story on him: A Piano Man of Many Faces, and Some Stranger Stories

He performs a few evenings a week. So call and ask before visiting. 212 688 4692

The restaurants listed here serve good, cheap Indian food.

In the case of Indian restaurants expensive rarely means tasty food. Very likely that if you order two dishes only one of them is likely to be good.
